They remember being so hungry and having nothing to eat except bread and dripping. Out of their fears, they made my siblings and I eat every last skerrick of food on our plates because of their past experience.

Our beliefs about money, are not money!

Often our beliefs about money are what get in the way of us having and enjoying having money.

I have changed my beliefs about money that I learned from my parents limiting experience of the world. Sometimes limiting beliefs about money can be traumatic, I remember loving running and competing in running as a child, in fact I was so good at it I broke an Australian record in running and competed at State level until I was 15 years old.

I once asked my father for running shoes and blocks to help me compete at this level. He said, “The McDonalds fought on the right side of the king, and they always went into battle barefoot!”

I never did get those shoes, and as an adult I have changed my beliefs about money so that money is my friend, I love money and having money allows me to look after myself, and assist others to change their prosperity.
