What Wants to Bloom in You This Spring?
There's a particular kind of quiet that happens in a garden in late winter. Nothing looks like it's doing much. The soil sits there, unremarkable, a little cold. And then, almost overnight, something pushes through — a shoot, a bud, a stubborn bit of green where a week ago there was nothing at all.
I think about that a lot in this work.
So often, the growth we're waiting for in ourselves follows the exact same pattern. It doesn't happen in a dramatic before-and-after moment. It happens underground, slowly, in the parts of us we can't see — long before anything visible shows up on the surface. By the time you notice a real shift in how you feel, how you show up, how you respond instead of react, the truth is you've usually been doing the quiet work for weeks already.
Spring has a way of reminding us of this. It's not really a season that creates growth. It's a season that finally lets what's already been happening underneath become visible.
That's the question I want to leave you with this week: what's already been stirring in you, underneath the surface, waiting for the right conditions to be seen?
Maybe it's a boundary you've been quietly practising but haven't fully claimed out loud yet. Maybe it's a version of yourself — calmer, freer, more expressed — that's been taking shape in small moments you almost didn't notice. Maybe it's simply permission. Permission to want more, to take up space, to stop shrinking to keep things comfortable for everyone else.
Whatever it is, it doesn't need forcing. It needs the right conditions — safety, support, and a little intentional attention — the same way a seedling needs light and water rather than pressure to grow.
That's exactly what this work is for, whether we're together one-on-one in a hypnotherapy session, working through a course together, or moving through a workshop side by side. Not pushing you into becoming someone new, but creating the conditions for what's already true in you to finally break the surface.
So as the days start stretching longer and the mornings feel a little less grey, I'd love to know — what's quietly been growing in you? What's ready for a bit of light?
If you're not sure yet, that's alright too. Some of the best growth starts with simply asking the question.
Here's to a spring that lets a little more of you come into view.
Warmly, Jennipher
