Find Your Way Back to Joy
You deserve to feel alive in your own body again.
The Problem
You've survived. You've made it through. But something still feels... stuck.
Maybe you're carrying tension you can't explain. Maybe you've lost touch with the woman who used to laugh easily, move freely, feel creative. Maybe you're a grandmother watching the gap between you and your grandchildren widen, knowing the pain in your family didn't start with you—but not knowing how to stop it from continuing.
The agencies helped you relocate. Find housing. Prepare for interviews. But nobody's talking about what's still living in your body. The overwhelm that shows up in your shoulders. The way you hold your breath without realizing. The creative spark that went quiet.
Family and domestic violence isn't just something that happened to you—it's something your body remembers long after you're safe.
There's a Different Way Forward
What if healing wasn't about talking it through one more time? What if the path back to yourself was through movement, play, and safe embodied awareness?
This isn't crisis counseling. This isn't another practical skills workshop. This is about releasing what's been stuck, reconnecting with the joy and creativity you thought you'd lost, and remembering who you are beneath the trauma.
Your 4-Week Journey Back to Yourself
Women's Movement Workshop
May 26 - June 16, 2026
Through gentle theatre games, embodied movement practices, and somatic awareness techniques (Theatre of the Oppressed and Theatre for Living), you'll:
Release stuck emotions and overwhelm your body has been carrying
Reconnect with fun, creativity, and self-expression
Build genuine self-love and self-esteem from the inside out
Gain clarity about who you are and what you want
Feel safe in your own skin again
This work addresses what lives in your body long after the violence has ended.
Why This Works
While other programs focus on rebuilding your life around you, this work focuses on rebuilding your connection to you. Your body holds wisdom. Your body holds release. Your body remembers how to feel joy—it just needs permission and safety to find its way back.
You'll work with women who understand. In a space designed for gentle awareness, not performance. With practices rooted in embodied liberation, not just cognitive understanding.
Your Next Step
You don't have to stay stuck. You don't have to accept that "this is just how life is now."
